What are the stories you carry? Submit your story and join Southeast Asian Diaspora Storytelling (SEADS) as we reflect on war and memory and create space to reclaim our Southeast Asian histories. By sharing your story, you enrichen the narrative that acknowledges and honors the diverse and complex journeys of our Minnesota Southeast Asian Diaspora communities. Veterans, elders, activists and youth with Hmong, Lao, Khmer, and Viet heritage are encouraged to submit their stories.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Stories can be submitted on this online form or by in-person interview. If you need help submitting your story or would like to schedule an interview, call 612-987-7313 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

WHAT ARE WE DOING WITH THE STORIES?
With the stories we capture, we will produce creative storytelling works of visual, literary, digital and performance art, with a select amount of stories published in an art book.
This project is made possible from legacy funding through the Minnesota Humanities Center.
Minnesota Remembers Vietnam is an initiative led by Twin Cities PBS aimed at inspiring Minnesotans to remember, share stories, recognize bravery, express their reasons for dissent, and foster understanding around the lasting impact of war. TPT is partnering with the Minnesota Humanities Center to bring public conversations around these topics to communities across the state, thanks to support from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that was created with a vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
